Social media, social networks and online communities, have created an environment where companies are now in a constant dialogue with their customers.

Knowing all this, do you have Social Media Marketing questions for your business? Maybe you are wondering:

    • How to maximise your impact & be visible in the crowded online space?
    • When to Post?

  • What to Post?
  • Where do your customers hang out online?
This course will firstly provide you with an introduction and broad overview of: social media and social marketing and how marketing has evolved. Secondly, we will support you to understand the challenges in the implementation and operation of social media marketing. Most importantly, you will review the use of social media for Marketing and Public Relations and understand how customers and businesses are, as a result, increasingly engaging with social media for targeted selling, building a customer base and relationships; social media behaviours; online branding; language for social media; analytics;demographics; geo-graphics and psychographics.
You will analyse the impact of social networking and social media and the implications of this for customer service. Consequently, using that knowledge, you will be able to identify and combine technologies, apps and platforms to develop a coherent approach and how to use multiple platforms and scheduled posting most effectively.

A New Year Business Boost!

The training and mentoring at North Wales Business Academy, is designed with you in mind. We take the guess work out of business growth and are here to support your sustainable success. Let us help you focus on developing your business strategy and to create your bite-size, bespoke programme to address your business growth needs.

This innovative project, part funded by the European Social Fund, through the Welsh Government, harnesses the collective talents, skills and expertise of Grŵp Llandrillo MenaiBangor University,Wrexham Glyndŵr University and Coleg Cambria.

North Wales Business Academy’s Flagship Module Strategic, Business Analysis #SBA is a 2 Day Event.

This SBA module gives YOU the business leader, the opportunity to step back and review all aspects of your business, strategically. This is done alongside a business mentor, tutors and a peer network of other business owners with an emphasis on long-term growth and sustainability. On completion of this SBA, the business gains access to Phase 2.

Here a business can pick specialist modules from any of the four partner institutions. The specialist modules are within the key 7 themes:

  • Financial Management
  • Developing People
  • Governance and Ethics
  • Sales and Marketing
  • Business Strategy
  • Managing Operations
  • Business Communications

The Strategic Business Analysis Module is the first phase of the North Wales Business Academy aimed at business owners, leaders and department heads. The principle aim of the module is to facilitate an opportunity for the business owner, leader or department head to review all aspects of their own organisation in a strategic manner. This is done alongside a business mentor, tutors and a peer network of other business owners with an emphasis on long term growth and sustainability.

It is widely acknowledged that the day-to-day running of a business takes precedence, so developing, let alone implementing a strategy can be difficult, if not impossible. The SBA provides two days away from the office to fully focus and develop this important area of your business. As a business owner you will add to your existing knowledge and understanding to enable you to develop a competitive and sustainable business strategy, and a successful organisation development plan to achieve it.

The business will also be allocated an NWBA Business Mentor who will assist with the completion of an initial business diagnostic and skills plan. The Mentor will also support the business to effectively implement the follow up training and evaluate the long-term business benefits of the programme.
