Clearwater Creedence Revival and The Animals Farewell Tour
An evening of quality live music with Clearwater Creedence Revival and The Animals.
Clearwater Creedence Revival:
Can you believe it’s over 50 years since legendary Woodstock Festival, Along with Santana, Ten Years After, Jimi Hendrix, Joe Cocker, The Who, Janis Joplin and a host of other iconic, or soon-to-be iconic artists, was Creedence Clearwater Revival. Five decades on, the spirit, power and quality of their iconic songs – ‘Proud Mary, ‘Bad Moon Rising’, ‘Have You Ever Seen The Rain’ and more are powerfully reprised with Clearwater Creedence Revival – along with material from CCR frontman, John Fogerty – most recently seen on tour with ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons.
“Clearwater Creedence Revival do themselves “Proud” (‘…Mary’). The vocalist is a big, bearded fella with a lovely, gravelly voice and he guides us through some classic Country stylings and soothes many a hungover head. ‘Bad Moon Rising’, ‘Have You Ever Seen The Rain’ and ‘I Put A Spell On You’, amongst others, make not being able to get to the bar more bearable, and in a world seemingly overrun with Creedence bands, this lot can hold their heads high above the rest.“ (ROCKTOPIA, Giants of Rock review)
Selling out at venues all over the world, Clearwater Creedence Revival feature road-hardened players who, collectively have performed with -Stax legend Steve Cropper, Big Country, Denny Laine (Wings, Moody Blues), Eric Haydocks Hollies, Animals And Friends, Alan Silson (Smokie), Wayne Fontana’s Mindbenders and more.
Together, they are the best ‘tribute’ to CCR & Fogerty you’re ever likely to see – and a band selling out all over the world, as audiences in Germany, Israel, Russia, Holland, Scandinavia, UK and more will attest!
The Animals Farewell Tour:
Featuring from the original Animals: JOHN STEEL & MICK GALLAGHER (The Blockheads) Plus Danny Handley & Roberto Ruiz
In 1964 a wave of new energetic rock and roll swept over the youth of the world. On the crest of this wave was The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and of course The Animals. From the banks of the River Tyne came the North East’s offering; a brand of rhythm ‘n blues that the whole world seemed to grasp greedily.
The Animals were the second British band to top the American charts after The Beatles with the now multi-million selling and legendary anthem, House of the Rising Sun. The band subsequently achieved over twenty global Top Ten hit records. In Britain alone, the band had no less than twelve chart entries.
The enduring influence and breadth of appeal of The Animals’ music continues ever onwards. The Animals’ 1964 debut was recently included in CLASSIC ROCK magazines’ feature – ‘50 Albums That Built Blues Rock’
“Though the band has changed, the songs remain eternal, thanks to the protesting dissatisfaction linking them together… alongside covers of Ray Charles and John Lee Hooker classics, they ensure that the nostalgic element comes with an enjoyably abrasive edge”. (ANIMALS AND FRIENDS review – Andy Gill, The Independent)
After 60 years, the legend still grows…
“The Animals earned their name thanks to their wild stage act. That was 50 years ago, and they have calmed down since, but their music has lost none of its vigour” – Wales Online Review

Hal Cruttenden ‘It’s Best You Hear It From Me’
After 21 years and 224 days Hal’s back being single. But it’s all going to be fine. Instead of getting the therapy he clearly needs, he’s made a cracking show about it. He’s lost enough weight to almost get his wedding ring off and, while he may be flying solo, he’s far from alone; he’s got his grown-up daughters, his dogs and his divorce lawyer. The fickle finger of fate has turned Hal’s life upside down but he’s sticking a finger right back at it.

Olly Murs announces 11 date UK tour for April & May 2023
Since bursting onto the music scene as the runner-up on the 2009 series of The X Factor, pop singer and songwriter Olly Murs has achieved an incredible amount of success.
Not long after the competition, Murs embarked on a sold-out X Factor arena tour and his debut single Please Don’t Let Me Go shot straight to the top of the charts in September 2010. His second hit, Thinking Of Me, peaked at No.4 in November of the same year. His self-titled debut record followed soon after, landing at No.2 on the UK albums chart.
Murs then decided to take his music in a different direction with his 2011 single Heart Skips A Beat, featuring Brighton hip hop duo Rizzle Kicks. It went right to the No.1 spot on the UK singles chart, and his follow-up album, In Case You Didn’t Know, did the same that autumn. Ollie Murs’ next tour was the star’s first headlining UK arenas.
Three more albums – 2012’s Right Place Right Time, 2014’s Never Been Better and 2016’s 24 Hrs – came in regular succession, with corresponding arena tours taking place during the intervening years. Co-written along with Steve Robson, Claude Kelly and Flo Rida, the lead track from Murs’ third album, Troublemaker, became his fourth solo single to reach No.1 and his biggest selling single to date.
Alongside his music career, in 2012 Murs released his illustrated autobiography Happy Days. In it, he opened up about challenges with depression and anxiety that came with his sudden rise to fame. Since then, he’s worked closely with mental health charities like Brainwave and #IAMWHOLE, which presented the ground-breaking Music 4 Mental Health concert in 2018.
In 2018, Murs got his own spinning red chair when he joined the coaching panel of The Voice UK. The following year, Team Olly member Molly Hocking was crowned the champion of the TV competition’s eighth series.
Murs spent the summer of 2019 touring the UK with a huge run of shows celebrating 10 years in the music industry, as well as promoting the release of his sixth studio album, 2018’s You Know I Know. The double album featured a selection of Murs’ greatest hits, as well as 14 new songs.
A devoted football fan and talented footballer, Murs is co-owner of Essex’s non-league Coggeshall Town FC. Often a participant in charity football matches, in September 2020, he captained England in Soccer Aid at Old Trafford.
In summer 2021, Murs embarked on a huge UK tour performing his biggest hits – including tracks from his triple platinum album Never Been Better – that continues through summer 2022. On 20 September 2021, he was revealed as the first headliner for Trentham Live, appearing on 4 September 2022.
In August 2022 Olly Murs signed with EMI for his first studio album in four years, Marry Me, with a release date 2 December. ‘Die Of A Broken Heart’ is its lead single.
