Set in the past it celebrates all that was great from the 1940s 50s & 60s. We invite you to drift back in time, to those halcyon days and soak up the unique atmosphere in the period costume of your chosen era. It is an opportunity for you, friends and family to dress up to the nines in timeless style, amongst a crowd of people doing the same.

ARE YOU UP FOR A CHALLENGE?

The Ponty Plod on Sunday July 14th 2019 starting at 11am is the answer!

This family friendly, dog friendly walk takes place in Ynysangharad Park. The route is 5K. There will be an 80’s theme, music, and an after walk party. All adult walkers will also receive a Macmillan Tote Bag (sponsored by Egan Waste) and all those adults who complete the walk will receive a Macmillan medal.

This year we will be using JustGiving in order to register places for the walk.

What we need from you:

£10 – this is the cost for walk entry for over 12s. Under 12 are free. Under 12s can be registered in advance by email at nwatkins2353@gmail.com or can be registered on the day.

It’s a challenge like no other that goes against every natural instinct, it’s about facing fears and pushing natural boundaries to the limit. This experience is all about one decision, the decision to jump that only you, the participant, can make!

The UK Bungee Club is holding a special event for three days only (24,25 & 26 August), at the National Diving and Activity Centre near Chepstow.

With highly trained and qualified staff, the UK Bungee Club has a 100% safety record working strictly in accordance with the BERSA code of safe practice. All equipment is independently tested and certified. Click on the link for more information about the club UK Bungee Club

The cost of the jump is £125 per person, and we request that you aim for a minimum of £200 in sponsorship for St David’s Hospice Care. Don’t forget to download your sponsor form!

The Menai food Festival (organised by the same company that organises the popular Beaumaris Food Festival ) is held on the recreation field and surrounding areas in Menai Bridge, ( just a short walk away from the famous suspension bridge) Anglesey, (North Wales) Promises to be even better this year with even more local, national and international Food & drink producers, Craft stalls and street food stands!

There will be fantastic live music performed on stage throughout the weekend and a mini funfair on site to keep little ones entertained
There will be plenty going on throughout the day and more to be announced!

Open from 9.30-6pm
Admission is £3 per adult and accompanied children go free. £5 for weekend tickets.
There will be a free park and ride for festival goers in festival car parks which will be clearly signposted on the day.
While you’re in Menai Bridge we recommend that you visit some of the wonderful independent shops around the town.

The doorbell rings just as Sophie and her mummy are sitting down to tea. Who could it possibly be? What they certainly don’t expect to see at the door is a big, stripy tiger!

Join the tea-guzzling tiger in this delightful family show; packed with oodles of magic, sing-a-long songs and clumsy chaos! A stunning stage adaptation of the classic tale of teatime mayhem… expect to be surprised!

Now in its sixth year the festival has grown from a one day charity event to welcoming over 3,000 visitors throughout the weekend. The 2019 line up is bigger than ever with over 30 breakthrough and emerging Welsh artists performing on the spectacular lakeside stage and acoustic venues across the festival site hosted alongside award winning welsh street food and a jam packed programme of family activities and outdoor adventures.

Festival features include kids walled garden with activities and fun and games for all ages, music, art and circus workshops, laser tag, bushcraft, craft fields, paddle boarding, wellbeing sanctuary with wood fired hot tubs, therapies, yoga, pilates, mindfulness and dance classes, talks, tastings and demonstrations, street food alley, lakeside feasts, quirky bars and a stunning riverside camping and glamping fields.
