LOVE SNOWDON CHALLENGE

Show some love to your heart by joining Welsh Hearts charity on their first ever Snowdon challenge.

A daytime hike supported by qualified mountain leaders to fundraise for heart screening in North Wales.

Leaving Llanberis at 9am we will head to pen y Pass on the Sherpa Bus before setting off along the Miners Track, reaching the summit of Snowdon (or Yr Wyddfa to use it’s Welsh name) in time for lunch at one of the most beautiful destinations on earth. We will return along the Llanberis Path back into Llanberis.

WELSH HEARTS

Welsh Hearts is the leading heart charity in Wales for placing defibrillators in communities and delivering CPR and defibrillator training in Wales. They are regarded as the heart charity at the centre of saving lives in Wales. Cardiovascular disease accounts for a third of all deaths in Wales, where the death rate is higher than in the majority of countries in Western Europe.

MISSION

  • To provide public-access defibrillators in Wales in close partnership with strategic partners
  • To provide FREE defibrillator and CPR training for the Welsh public
  • To ensure that monies raised in Wales are utilised and distributed within Wales on specific heart related projects.

VISION

A future where nobody in Wales dies prematurely from heart disease.

Welsh Hearts has been established as a fundraising organisation to help save lives in Wales.

Through the Love Snowdon Challenge Breese Adventures are aiming to help Welsh Hearts fundraise £7,000 to hold their first heart screening session in North Wales.

At least 12 young people die every week of undiagnosed heart disease in the UK. Through heart screening heart disease can be diagnosed and treated to help save lives.

For the latest information you can follow the Breese Adventures Twitter account and also like the Facebook Page for updates.
