Buddy – The Buddy Holly Story
Buddy has been enjoyed by millions of people around the world and tells the story of the tragically short life of Buddy Holly, who along with high-school friends the Crickets, turned Country music upside down to create some of the best rock ‘n’ roll songs ever written. With audiences around the world dancing in the aisles this legendary production hits The Princess Royal Theatre. Oh Boy! Rave On! Peggy Sue! That’ll Be The Day! – All smash hits of the golden days of rock ‘n’ roll, when ‘doo-wops’ and ‘ah hey, ah hey, heys’ rang out from every jukebox!
We share Buddy’s frustrations through his first recording contract; the excitement America felt when ‘That’ll Be The Day’ hit # 1 ; his naïve determination to be the first white act to play the Apollo Theatre, Harlem; his whirlwind romance and marriage to Maria Elena; concluding with the ill- fated ‘Winter Dance Party’ tour of the Midwest and what in theatre must be one of the most incredible musical concerts of all-time.

For the first time rugby legend Scott Quinnell will share some of the most extraordinary stories and facts about his life both on and off the rugby pitch and how he has become one of the most recognised and respected Welsh figures. From growing up with Giants of the game to learning to read and write after his retirement and becoming a star of Television and Radio! Scott bares all with his hilarious tales, never seen before footage and colourful pictures of his colourful life. Which will leaving you ROARING in your seats!

Chirk Castle Trail Run – Wrexham County Trilogy series
This multi distance multi terrain trail run which will take you past the front of the castle before entering the trails leading to the amazing antient woodland in the beautiful grounds of Chirk Castle. The run will take place over a 5K out and back loop on a multi-terrain surface which is in great condition. The course has a mixture of flat areas as well as some climbing.
Throughout the course there will be marshals in key locations as well as signs to ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment.
The Wrexham County Trilogy series is made up of three trail running events in North Wales.
02.10.2022 – Chirk Castle
22.10.2022 – Alyn Waters Country Park
06.11.2022 – Erddig
All finishers will receive a custom designed eco friendly medal as well as awards for the top 3 finishers in each category per race.

- The Talgarth Pen-y-Fan View 10K takes place in the town of Talgarth and benefits from great views of the surrounding area including the Black Mountains and the iconic Pen-y-Fan.
- The course is on wide pedestrian/cycle paths (traffic free) and is an out-and-back route.
- Open to all abilities.
- An undulating course
- Medal for all finishers.
