Bronwen Lewis: Live From The Living Room

Bronwen Lewis brings her ‘Live From The Living Room’ online sessions to the stage in what promises to be an intimate evening of incredible live music.

The multi-instrumentalist, Tik-Tok sensation performs a varied repertoire including original tracks from her latest album. Bringing her inimitable style of blending the Welsh language with popular songs, Bronwen Lewis will also perform her much-loved covers from traditional hymns all the way through to Ed Sheeran.

The Welsh singer-songwriter has a wonderfully warm style that sits between Country, Pop, Folk and Blues. She is proudly bilingual and received international acclaim during her time on BBC’s The Voice when she brought Tom Jones to tears. Bronwen also starred in and sang the theme song ‘Bread and Roses’ in the BAFTA Award Winning film ‘Pride’.

Throughout lockdown, Bronwen gained a huge fan base, performing over 45 virtual concerts from her home studio. She went viral with her Welsh language covers of famous Pop songs.

Bronwen released her 2nd album ‘Canvas’ last year which she co-wrote and co-produced with the hugely talented producer Lee Mason.

After appearing on television specials, supporting Max Boyce on tour, and performing on BBC Radio 1, Bronwen Lewis now brings her sensational solo show to the stage.

Big Country

BIG COUNTRY perform classic hits and live favourites including Harvest Home – Fields of Fire – In A Big Country – Chance – Wonderland – Look Away – The Teacher …  plus many more…

Formed in 1981 by guitar playing founder members, the late Stuart Adamson and Bruce Watson, both native of the band’s hometown Dunfermline in Scotland. Initially driven by a shared vision of widescreen guitar melody, harmony and lyric, the classic Big Country sound was further enhanced later that summer by the arrival of drummer Mark Brzezicki and bass player Tony Butler. This is the Big Country that (with Producer Steve Lillywhite), recorded the classic debut album ‘The Crossing’ in 1983.

The band broke massively worldwide with the release of the album’s classic singles ‘Fields Of Fire’, ‘Chance’ and signature song ‘In A Big Country’, which went on to become massive worldwide hits, selling over 2 million copies and driving ‘The Crossing’ to 3 prestigious Grammy nominations in the USA. The run of success continued throughout the 1980′s with the release of the anthemic single ‘Wonderland’ and the second album ‘Steeltown’ (1984), which debuted at Number 1 in the UK and contained the hit singles ‘East Of Eden, ‘Just a Shadow’ and ‘Where The Rose Is Sown’.

Steeped in a stunning catalogue of proud and stirring hit songs such as ‘Fields of Fire’, ‘Chance’, ‘In A Big Country’ (which sold 2 million), ‘East Of Eden’ and their biggest UK hit ‘Look Away’, along with massive albums such ‘The Seer’, ‘Steeltown’, ‘Peace In Our Time’ and the triple Grammy –nominated, ‘The Crossing’, BIG COUNTRY continue to look beyond the next horizon.

The band – BRUCE WATSON (guitars/vocals); MARK BRZEZICKI (drums, vocals); JAMIE WATSON (guitars/vocals) will be augmented on stage by singer/guitarist SIMON HOUGH and bassist SCOTT WHITLEY

Clearwater Creedence Revival and The Animals Farewell Tour

Clearwater Creedence Revival and The Animals Farewell Tour

An evening of quality live music with Clearwater Creedence Revival and The Animals.

Clearwater Creedence Revival:

Can you believe it’s over 50 years since legendary Woodstock Festival, Along with Santana, Ten Years After, Jimi Hendrix, Joe Cocker, The Who, Janis Joplin and a host of other iconic, or soon-to-be iconic artists, was Creedence Clearwater Revival. Five decades on, the spirit, power and quality of their iconic songs – ‘Proud Mary, ‘Bad Moon Rising’, ‘Have You Ever Seen The Rain’ and more are powerfully reprised with Clearwater Creedence Revival – along with material from CCR frontman, John Fogerty – most recently seen on tour with ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons.

“Clearwater Creedence Revival do themselves “Proud” (‘…Mary’). The vocalist is a big, bearded fella with a lovely, gravelly voice and he guides us through some classic Country stylings and soothes many a hungover head. ‘Bad Moon Rising’, ‘Have You Ever Seen The Rain’ and ‘I Put A Spell On You’, amongst others, make not being able to get to the bar more bearable, and in a world seemingly overrun with Creedence bands, this lot can hold their heads high above the rest.“ (ROCKTOPIA, Giants of Rock review)

Selling out at venues all over the world, Clearwater Creedence Revival feature road-hardened players who, collectively have performed with -Stax legend Steve Cropper, Big Country, Denny Laine (Wings, Moody Blues), Eric Haydocks Hollies, Animals And Friends, Alan Silson (Smokie), Wayne Fontana’s Mindbenders and more.

Together, they are the best ‘tribute’ to CCR & Fogerty you’re ever likely to see – and a band selling out all over the world, as audiences in Germany, Israel, Russia, Holland, Scandinavia, UK and more will attest!

The Animals Farewell Tour:

Featuring from the original Animals: JOHN STEEL & MICK GALLAGHER (The Blockheads) Plus Danny Handley & Roberto Ruiz

In 1964 a wave of new energetic rock and roll swept over the youth of the world. On the crest of this wave was The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and of course The Animals. From the banks of the River Tyne came the North East’s offering; a brand of rhythm ‘n blues that the whole world seemed to grasp greedily.

The Animals were the second British band to top the American charts after The Beatles with the now multi-million selling and legendary anthem, House of the Rising Sun. The band subsequently achieved over twenty global Top Ten hit records. In Britain alone, the band had no less than twelve chart entries.

The enduring influence and breadth of appeal of The Animals’ music continues ever onwards. The Animals’ 1964 debut was recently included in CLASSIC ROCK magazines’ feature – ‘50 Albums That Built Blues Rock’

“Though the band has changed, the songs remain eternal, thanks to the protesting dissatisfaction linking them together… alongside covers of Ray Charles and John Lee Hooker classics, they ensure that the nostalgic element comes with an enjoyably abrasive edge”. (ANIMALS AND FRIENDS review – Andy Gill, The Independent)

After 60 years, the legend still grows…

“The Animals earned their name thanks to their wild stage act. That was 50 years ago, and they have calmed down since, but their music has lost none of its vigour” – Wales Online Review

A Tribute to Adele

Adele – The Journey So Far Starring Stacey Lee

A tribute to Adele.
Hand picked by Adele to star in Adele At The BBC, Stacey Lee’s uncannily similar vocal timbre leaves the star gobsmacked.

Coupled with a beautifully relaxed and honest rapport with audiences worldwide, Stacey captures Adele like nobody else. Not surprising, as both were raised yards from each other in Tottenham, North London and share the same local ’twang’ that Adele is synonymous with.

Stacey’s band, Someone Like Them, are awash with some of London’s finest session musicians.

Adele’s Journey So Far has accelerated her from basement vlogger to The Biggest Star on The Planet in the blink of an eye. Her three studio albums have sold an unprecedented 100 million albums worldwide, a number usually only reserved for heritage superstars with 50 year careers. The show takes you on a journey through Adele’s musical and personal life, laid bare for us in such heartfelt lyrics as only Adele can.

Beautiful imagery and video adorn the auditorium as audiences are treated to all the hits and much more, including Chasing Pavements, Make You Feel My Love, Rolling In The Deep, Someone Like You, Set Fire To The Rain, Rumour Has It, Skyfall & Hello.
